During his Police career Mic Martin was asked on many occasions to assist on Film and TV productions as a technical advisor, both with dogs and firearms. He now runs K9FX Film Dogs, all types of dogs for all types of Media. K9FX Film Dogs has a large number of trained dogs from simple photo shoots to the larger production, we also work with several other well known animal trainers and can usually provide any type of animal for your assignment. Also when deciding on Technical Advice for all things Police and Military from a small photo shoot to a larger production, Mic Martin and his team will be able to assist you at every step from the early days of planning the shoot right through to dealing with movement of large groups of Support Artistes around the set.

Biography: After joining the Police
service Mic worked as a Patrol officer, he was then selected to join the
Tactical Patrol Group and completed his initial firearms, drugs search and
detection qualifications. He then joined the Dog Section and worked as a
General Police Dog Handler, Tactical Firearms Support Dog Handler completing
his Advanced Firearms course, Drugs Detection Dog Handler and in 1994 he became
an Environmental Dog Instructor. Mic has
worked with the Customs and Excise Dept, American and German Police Services.
He has competed at the highest level in Regional Dog Trials and Civilian
Working Trials. He has studied Dog Behavior with the Animal Care College and is
a Member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, The Guild of Master Dog Trainers and the National Association of Security Dog Users. In 2002 he became K9 Consultant and Instructor to
the late President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the
Military Police of the United Arab Emirates. Since then he has completed two
more overseas assignments.
